We are thrilled to be introducing you to the wonderful world of Ballroom and Latin Dancing - the best sport in the world!

We could talk for hours about how our classes will help to improve your child’s confidence, or how they will develop their team working skills or how they will learn dance moves like they see on Strictly Come Dancing - all of which is true!….but to tell you the truth, we just want them to have a fantastically fun time where they make strong friendships and get to pursue something they feel passionate about.
There’s nothing better than seeing them do something they genuinely love!
So each Saturday morning, at 9am, we meet up in the Tiptree Community Centre to teach them Ballroom and Latin dancing, with opportunities throughout the year to join in with dance examinations, competitions and more. All of which is completely optional but gives them a reason to be proud of themselves.
Join us for a trial of our Shooting Stars Class where your child will learn to dance, develop their creativity, boost their confidence and most importantly, make friends.

Class Time: Saturday mornings, 9:00-10:15 (including a half hour group practice)

Life Skills Through Dance
Our Shooting Stars Class provides an exciting chance for children to develop important life skills and have fun through the art of dance. By joining our class, your child will:
Develop Discipline and Focus: Dance routines teach children concentration, hard work, and dedication.
Building Resilience: Persevering through and mastering steps builds a confidence in children that encourages a positive attitude to be taken towards the next challenge that comes their way.
Encourage Creativity: Children explore styles like Cha-cha, Jive, Waltz and Samba - learning the basics of Ballroom and Latin Dancing through playful activities. This variety allows each child to gain a more varied foundation, allowing them to show their creativity however they like.
Dance Exams and Competitions
In addition to life skills, our Children's Classes take regular (yet completely optional) Medal Examinations and an annual Dance Competitions in order to celebrate their progress. These events are a fantastic way for children to use their hard work to gain confidence doing something they wouldn't usually do. Whether your child is just starting their dancing journey or if they are looking to take their dancing to the next level, we will help guide and support them every step of the way.
