There's something about being away together a is really special. Breakfast tables that turn into an hour of chatting. Someone appearing at your elbow with a cup of tea. The walk back along the beach after dinner.

Come with your partner, come with friends, or come on your own - you'll be with people you know the moment you arrive.

During the social dancing in the evening, each night will have its own theme. Although abiding to the theme is not compulsory, it's a lot more fun if you get dressed for the occasion! You can be sure that we will!

Our themed nights include...

• ‘Black & White’ Night (no grey or cream!)

• 'D' Night (dress as something beginning with the letter D, such as a dinosaur, dinner plate or dancer)

• Farewell Ball (Black tie)

If you only know it from the television, nothing quite prepares you for walking in.

The gilded balconies. The painted ceiling. The Wurlitzer rising up out of the floor. And that sprung maple floor, laid in 1894 and still the one dancers cross continents to set foot on.

We'll be there for afternoon tea and dancing. Tea, cake, the organ playing, and a proper turn around the most famous ballroom in the world.

It's one thing to learn a Waltz on a Tuesday night. It's quite another to dance it there.

We will teach you something fancy and new on the Saturday and Sunday mornings in the hotels grand Ballroom.

As our dancers, we know what you know and we know what you don’t know! So when choreographing our workshops, we make sure that everyone gets something exciting and new to them!

The North Euston — a grand, curved Victorian hotel sitting right on Fleetwood's seafront, looking out across the water towards the Lake District hills.

High ceilings, sweeping staircases and the sort of character that makes an evening dance feel like an occasion. Sunsets from the front of the hotel that are worth the trip on their own.

Half board throughout, so breakfast and dinner are taken care of and nobody has to organise anything.

And the heritage tram runs from the seafront straight down the coast into Blackpool — a lovely little journey in itself. Hop on whenever you fancy, come back whenever you like.

Fleetwood has the market, the fishing port, the lighthouses and a long promenade made for a proper walk. The museum's well worth an hour.

Blackpool's a tram ride away whenever you want it — the Promenade, the piers, the Winter Gardens, the Pleasure Beach if you're feeling brave.

Or stay exactly where you are with a pot of tea and watch the sea. Several of us will join you.

Couples, friends booking together, and single dancers — all very much at home here. There's no level you need to be at and nothing you need to know in advance.

And if your other half comes for the seaside rather than the Samba, there's plenty here for them too.
